Learn more about Kurt Boehm
Kurt was born in St. Louis and grew up in House Springs, MO. He grew up Catholic, graduated from Northwest High School, and attended Jefferson College 1 year. A high school friend (attending what is now Truman University) asked Kurt to come to Kirksville for a visit. During that weekend (which happened to be a Baptist Student Union retreat) he saw something in the lives of those students that he didn’t have. God saved Kurt and in 1973 he transferred to Truman University where he became part of the BSU and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business. In 1976 he married Cindy Stelplugh and moved to LaPlata for 6 years before returning to the St. Louis area (Arnold). Three sons born in 1980, 1982, and 1986 completed the family. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1985.
