This is an unprecedented time. With that in mind, and in light of the recommendations from the president, governor and CDC, we are cancelling all scheduled meetings for the next two weeks through the end of the month. That does not mean, however, that we are abandoning worship. This Sunday and next we will livestream our time of worship and the Word through our Youtube channel. We will also send out a bulletin with the words to the songs and the readings, etc via email. It is our hope that you will join us in this way with your family so that we can meet “together” though located in our various homes. If you know of members who are not able to watch via live stream, you might consider inviting one or two of them to join you, as long as doing so does not lead to a crowd of people in your home (The president has suggested no more than 10 people, excluding immediate family).
We will send out the link to the live stream on Saturday and again on Sunday just before we begin at 10:40, but here it is if you want to bookmark it https://www.youtube.com/c/RockportBaptistChurchArnoldMO/live
Cindy plans to send the digital bulletin out on Saturday as well.
We will evaluate the situation after two weeks and, depending on what we are being told at that time, look forward to returning to public worship as soon as we know it is wise to do so. Until then, please continue to pray for wisdom for our leaders. Please check in on those who may need special help during this time. Please take every precaution for your family. And let an elder or deacon know if there is something we can do for you.
We love you, are praying for you and looking forward to being back together again soon!
Your Elders
