“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want”
Psalm 23:1

Praise the Lord! Like many of you, I am grateful for the way the Lord has provided us with a new home for our church family to worship, to fellowship, to minister together. Looking back I can see so many places where his hand and grace have been evident. I believe our new location is a gift for which we can be thankful. I am equally grateful for each of you who have worked, prayed, thought, and gone before the Lord to seek His grace and wisdom as I know you have. And I am grateful for the fact that this move was approved by such an overwhelming majority of our congregation (just under 98%). But whether that final “yes” included you or not, I am grateful that we can now move forward together knowing that our Lord, who has always been faithful to us, will continue to be faithful day after day as we keep our eyes on Him.

So now is not the time to stop seeking His help. Now the real work begins as we engage all the practical and necessary details involved in making this move a reality. Please don’t slack off in prayer. I believe we need it, and God’s wisdom and grace, now more than ever. With a thousand decisions to be made in the next few months, there will be ample room for the Enemy to try and get between us and disrupt us with unnecessary side roads. There is much work to be done. There are many decisions to be made. There will be moments of joy and disappointment. There will be “hard things” we didn’t anticipate. There will be differences of perspective and opinion to work through. But as we seek the Lord together, I am certain He will guide us in all these things for His glory, just as he has done as we have worked through this decision.

I love you all and look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for us. More information to come as we move forward and it becomes available . I

n His Grace, Pastor Scott
