As incredible as it may seem, today is our final day to gather for worship here in this building. Next Sunday we will meet at our new home at 2322 Tenbrook Drive. As we prepare for this move, please keep in mind that a whole lot of people have given a whole lot of time and effort to get things ready for us! Let’s give thanks to God and gratitude to all who’ve served us so well! But also, be mindful that there still remains much to be done before everything is finished. Here are some things to watch for and keep in mind next week:
- The best way to enter the facility will be through the foyer located in the middle of the building by the parking lot. We will have the coffee ready!
- It will be good to come to Sunday School early in order to find your classes (See the handout in the bulletin for class locations)
- Parents, it’s a new place with new distractions. Please pick you children up from Sunday School and help us get everyone to worship on time.
- Bathrooms are in the center of the education hall, with entrances from both the education side and from the foyer. Let’s encourage our kiddos to go before worship. (And maybe all of us should try to do so as well)
- We will not yet have a screen installed for song words and our new hymnals are on back order, so please pick up a bulletin as you enter worship.
- There are a number of improvements to the facilities we will be considering in the months ahead, so please be patient when you see things that are not quite finished. We’re working on them and will update you as we go.
- There will be a fellowship meal following next week’s worship. Bring sides!
