God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face shine upon us,
that Your way may be known on earth, Your saving power among all nations!
Psalm 67:1-2

During our last congregational prayer meeting, Pastor Nevin reminded us
of the importance of praying for the Gospel to go out to the world, especially among the unreached. You can find more information and great tools to help you do that by going to the Joshua Project (www.joshuaproject.net.) They also have a really great app that can remind you to pray for a different unreached group each day. Your elders hope to see us gain a more intentional effort in 2020 to pray for and support the work of Christ’s mission to reach the world.

And speaking of that mission, our own Psalm 67 Missions Network is sponsoring a short missions trip to Mexico next week (Nov 30-Dec 3) with Aaron Sutton and Pastor Kyle Davis going to teach and encourage the people in a couple of our partner churches. At the request of the pastor they will be going to a church in Mexico to help him meet with some of his people who have been discouraged by difficulties within the church. They will conduct eight meetings on Saturday, preach once on Sunday morning (in Mexico). Then, they will preach at a church in Texas on Sunday night, conduct discipleship meetings on Monday (day and evening) and then fly back to St Louis on Tuesday. I’m tried just reading that! Obviously they will need your prayers, so please do whatever it takes to remind yourself to keep them lifted up before the Lord! I can’t wait to hear their report when they return.

Finally, let me remind you that December also brings a time of special emphasis on missions giving as part of our Christmas celebration. This year you will have the opportunity to give to the work of the International Missions Board through Lottie Moon, to HeartCry Missionary Society, or indigenous missionary Raj Kumar of India. More information soon.
